Any ideas?
The flight houses - bengies, green singers, star finches and african silverbills plus a cock goldbreast.
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,
I have no clue...other than it's not a bengie or a goldbreast LOL.
But...the little guy sure is darling!!!
I love them at that stage!
If I had to guess, it would be a singer.

Okay...here's another couple...
Check THIS out. If you can get the little bird to open it's mouth, compare the gape markings to the pic of the star finch here...awesome pictures of different gapes!
http://www.efinch.com/gape.htm
and here is a link to a site with stars...the very last pic at the bottom of the page shows a juvie star finch...even though it is 7 weeks old.

So, I still believe you've got a singer.

Hi Dave,
You aren't the only one to have PC problems recently, I've had to double the memory on mine to get things moving again.
I'm sorry you have lost your mystery chick, I just hope later in the year you manage to breed another the same so that we can identify this unfortunate youngster.

Hi Dave,
I'm really sorry. Lots of this has been happening...here too. Seems that lately, I spend more time being paranoid about the birds' health than I do anything else. Seems my gouldians are having a tough time right now.
Please keep up up to date on your goings-on. Internet problems suck...especially when important stuff comes up.
Take Care my friend,
