hi all,
i was planning to go but now having heard the news on ff3 about - all public can enter but only Parrot society members can only buy birds im not so sure?
Do you even think joining the parrot society is worth it? plus if only ps members can sell birds then what chance will there be of any finches or waxbills even being there?
Thanks
Dave

Hiya Dave
no i don't think it's worth joining the PS(unless you're interested in parrot's),personally i think it's a big con to get the member number's up,the PS
committee should hang their head's in shame and be reported for gaining fund's by
deception:-x

hi all ,previous p.s sales have traders attending and i believe this one is the same although what is available will be less than previous sales.many p.s members keep other birds not only parrot like so there will be other birds available on sales tables.but in the middle of the breeding season is a strange time to have a sale .

Hello peeps,
I'm talking about the previously booked June Stafford Bird Sale, to be honest I'm uncertain if I can justify travelling the distance knowing that there will be very little on offer from any traders or breeders?
But if enough arrangements regarding sales, buys and exchanges are made beforehand then it might be worth me making the journey??:-)
However if I have to join the PS in order to gain entry or to buy birds then I dont think I will bother, it is hard enough keeping up with paying subs to rellevant Clubs and Societies!
At the end of the day I would like to support any gathering that goes toward keeping the hobby alive, but there has to be a limit.:(
Having said that it may be possible to arrange sales, exchanges and buys through friends who are willing to make the trip?

Hello all,
It is a shame that a few members wont be going,:-| but as I've said before I might be making the trip if there is enough arranged beforehand to make it worth my while?
Paul.
