Hi Dave,

Due to quite a few mutation photos missing from the QFW Site, you might be better off posting some photos of your Birds & I will ID them for you, I have kept & bred Normal, Fawn, Silver, Blue, Pearl, White, Pied & combination Mutations of the above eg Silver Blue Pearl etc.

hey all,

Here are pictures of my new CPQ!! -

Here is a cock, 1 of 5 which all are the same as this one -

here is another cock, 1 of 3 which are the same as this but i think this is silver but could also be a combination as they have a similar under belly to the cock above -

here i have 1 of 2 hens, they both look like this -
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/dave_h1985/henquail.jpg

but 1 of the hens also has this spec of white on her as shown here -

Hope you can help me discover what colours they actually are?
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks
Dave H

hi dave,

top pic looks like a normal blue cock to me, next one down looks like a normal silver cock, the other two  they look sort of like my 2 blue pearl cocks but i can't be certain. i wouldn't be sure of them being hen's either as a friend of mine had a CPQ exactly like that and it turned out to be a cock without a mask.

best wait for paul to come online

Hi Dave,

I agree with Chris, you have all cocks & I also agree with Chris's identification of the Mutations, I think the last one is a Fawn Blue Pearl, if you can take some more close up pics of just the Birds it will make identification easier.

Paul.

fawn blue pearl would sound about right as those in the pictures are much lighter than the blue bearls i have.
