came back from colelge early as have 5 days off with the bank holiday! (part time i know) and in my yellow crowns nest box i have had less thana month i found a delightful little egg!!!!!! - well big egg then!!!
also 5 fertile eggs under the hecks and 1 gouldian finch chick

:-| my kakarikis are sitting on 6 eggs and rearing 1 baby at the mo and my budgie has 1 chick she is rearing im hoping my bigger parrots will lay soon

2 eggs on sunday hopefully a 3rd today
but gouldian cock bird from pr which didnt have chick is injured broken leg and wind dont know how he did it so he has bin removed from breeding. anyone know of a parent reared cock bird????

did the bird have a ring on as usually this is the cause of broken legs they catch them on the wire and do anything to get free

the bird does have a ring but ic ant see where it would have got caught. the bird has madea slight recovery but am not going to breed it this year

3 eggs werre seen under her yesterday so fingers crossed none laid on the floor so even better eting away at lots of fruit and veg! and even better due to hatch over half term and hopefully will be weaned just before im off to france fishing not that im organised!:D

the chcik now nearly 5 weeks old fair amount of feathering!!! and cant get on other forum as college have blocked it:-x
