red anjou is very expensive but dam well worth it.
i recently went to a member of the WFS member's set up, he tried growing it, it grew massive the seeds didn't ripen but they loved the red.
i did have some started off in the greenhouse, then the mice got to that batch, i have rectified the problem by putting 2 traps down, a new design, very effective four mice in 3 nights.

hi matt
its funny but i was saying to laura earlier that mice appear to be chewing their way into my avairy, this is the first time this has happened and it just might co-incide with us having a really bad march weather wise!

hi matt
have put a pair of little nippers down for them, with a couple of chocolate buttons on each with a hair trigger.i haven`t actually seen anything yet but the dog is very suspicious and i can smell them thats one of the reasons i had the aviary opened up yesterday cos as you know there is nothing worse than mouse widdle

Hi Ken,

Good luck with getting rid of the Mice mate, and I must join with everyone else who has sung the praises of Red Anjou Millet, my Birds love the stuff I think they know it costs more than the usual White Millet so they tuck into it more.

Good luck to the rest of you in growing this stuff, Chris if I had a garden the size of yours I wouldn't need to buy any Seed, Fruit etc.

Paul.
