Hi one and all......Hi Ken
The price of things... After returning from our hols and started to get back to the normal run of things I have noticed that prices have gone up during our stay away ( how dare they). For example went to get more lumber (wood kenny) to carry on with the bird bits a 2" x 1" piece of wood had gone up to 85c a 8' length ( thats about 40p ) and to get there the car gas ( petrol ken) had gone to 89c a litre (thats about 41p) and on the way back went into the Tim Hortons coffee shop got a lrg coffee and t biscuit (plain scone ken) and that was 1.98c (about 85p) that was to go (take away ken) good ground coffee and hot biscuit good needed it. Went to super store (grocery's ...) for special treat no hard tack and water for us t bone streaks were on so at 4.80 a pound i got 2 a pound size each $9.60 ( about 4 pound for both) and fresh Canadian veg (no imports for us) with sweet poatoes. went home and cooked the steaks out doors on the bbq ( its under cover) temp is a snowwy +3 and the suns shinning (thats the bright thing that you see in the sky through the smogg and rain).
What a life and who lives in gods country then.
Only joking ken the prices are correct but always miss the UK even if it was the west country and were else can you retire in your early 50"s and afford to live certanly not in my home country of great briton, I think its now only briton .had to sell the great bit to keep your politicians in power.
Hope that one day soon will beable to get back to visit you kenny (will bring my own t bags (red rose) best in the west) or you could come to visit us here cost of visit is calculated in friends and feathers ... think about that....its great to be back to annoy and chat with our best friend and foe our one and only Kenny (thats what you said for me to say wasn't it ken).

Hi Kenny
If you can watch the JUNO's awards thats the Canadian music award program on the tv it is beeing held near us in Halifax our nearest city you will see what a fine place we now live in .
I was also honored today by being able to hold one of the gold medals that were awarded in Australia at the Commonwealth games it was won by a 20 year old friend a few weeks ago.
Well not much happening in my dull life except I may have located some Canaries and british finches but have to travel well drive about 1200 miles each way to pick them up but if thats what it takes so be it.
