Hi all,
When I caught up all of the Strawberry Finches to take to Stafford I removed them from the mini aviary that also houses my Madagascan Mannikins I was treated to a pleasant surprise a clutch of eggs in the Madagascan Mannikin nest box. :D :D
The other day I was treated with a slightly more unpleasant surprise, I found one of my Mads plucked almost bald, face down in the water dish. :( :x
I have now removed the remaining Mads leaving the dominant pair on their own, I also removed the cold infertile eggs so they can start again.
I just hope I breed a good number of these lovely? :shock: Birds this year to make up for the heartache they have caused so far.
