Well, recently, I took a plunge. I have started a bird buisiness. Mainly, due to overhead, I've only made contacts with local shops that I trust. I hate wholesaling them, but until I can get some reserve funds built up to pay for advertising, etc., it is the only way to do it for now.
My dream...to make a name for myself so I dont have to go to people, but they come to me. Seems in Austin, TX, it is hard to find exotics, so that is in my favor.
But...maybe next season I will have made some progress. As for this season...well, I'm just letting my bunch do their thing, so to speak. I will try an ad or two in the paper to see how it goes, but if I can recover my costs this season I'll be doing great!. That means next season will be mostly profit!
