hello all

i purchased 500g of probirds mixed dried herbs from Stafford and mixed it into their moist eggfood mixture, at the dosage 500g herb mix to 5kg of eggfood, i put a pot of this mixture into the aviary and cages, and most of the birds go mad for it, they made a noticable difference as the amount they have eaten, where as usually its just 'i think they have eaten a bit'. i will continue with this mixture as its top notch and see how my birds success should increase. its is costly, but 5 kg of eggfood last me a year. It doesn't go manky so you can leave it for weeks if you so wish, (if they haven't already eaten it).
just a warning though, its not a great idea to sniff it.

it smells garlicey, apart from that its very fine stuff so if it gets up your nose, ever tried snorting shebert or pepper? has a similar effect.

i have not tried it yet, but i will do nearer late spring time
