Breeding Buffalo Worms

Hi All

Has anyone bread buffalo worms as I am going to try to get some for my waxbills do you keep them the same as mealworms ie in bran using the same system or are they different.

I have also heard that you can feed them on chick crumbs has anyone heard of this any help would be apprechiated as i am going to give this a go so the the birds can have a supply of smaller live food.

Hi Alan,

treat them the same as mealworms, they breed the same also but do better with a bit of warmth. there is a topic on here somewhere about breeding mealworms with instructions on how to do so
