no idea,

however re. the zebra finches, they should be kept as 2 birds per cage if using show/carry cages, however if using a double breeder or similar large cage then you can house more than 2 birds. i reckon they should be OK in a 4 foot breeding cage but don't quote me on it

I know I should be in bed by now, but my Brother who is looking after the place while my Olds and I are away for the weekend is proving to be a bad influence on me tonight (I'm sure you all know, that normally I would be in bed by now:lol: ).

As you know providing the organisers have no objections, then Roger will do his best in providing you with a great view of the Stafford Show and the nutters who will be visiting, which I hope will include not only the FF members, but also the members of FF3, BB and BBIA, so that you will be able to put faces to names from the various Forums.

As Roger says, you wont be there, but you will be.:lol:

And as Chris has said, please make it to the next big one in person mate.:wink:


To the rest of you people who will be visiting the Show,

I have been told by Laus Trigwell of FF3, that the two Birds per cage rule isn't as strict as it appears, providing the cage is suitable for more than two Birds then this will be fine.
For example, Bengalese/Zebra Finch Show Cage for small Finch Species, only two Birds.
Australian Finch Show Cage for small Finch Species, four Birds within reason.
Small Softbill Show Cage for small Finch Species, upwards of four-eight Birds within reason.
Single Breeding Cage for small Finch Species, upwards of eight Birds-? within reason.

no problem mate, i'm glad you like her. i was a bit paniced as i'd left the cage with Tom and though someone else had nicked your hen:shock: i'm really glad and relieved to hear you picked it up. if it doesn't parent rear let me know and i will sort something out with the next major show, although she should nest and sit herself as she is parent reared. let me know how you get on

Hi all I went to stafford loved the show, did not know where you were all meeting,you could all ware a badge with your names on:grin: at next show.i bought a pair of chocolate bengalese,a pair of rufous mannikins,pair or chestnut-breasted mannikins a male black winged bishop(need a female if anyone knows where one is) so, a good time was had.
