hi matt
with regards to writing an article for c&a.i dont think anyone would be interested in anything that i could write about ,unless it was something new and exciting like chris`s .unless i tell them about the new bengie /java cross that came out the nest this morning

i'm sure that would be good, got to be better than an article on Ferrets.

Hi Kenny,

you could write anything that is bird related, eg aviary construction with a few different designs, how to breed livefood cultures, growing plants in the aviary, different qualities of foods (something like that herb experiment we'll have going this year). also any species you breed, i've still got plans for an article on parent reared CPQ and napoleon weavers yet although that'll probably be later in the year

Chris;)

hi laura
i know its not much but when istarted in this hobby everyone i talked to was ready to give me all the right info that i could absorb,a bit like our little site here.but it annoys me that there could be complete novices reading c&a and the so called experts cannot be bothered to give out the correct information after all thats what they are there for as i said i did write more than that but i know they are pushed for space putting in adverts for rspca etc........anyway onwards and upwards as edmund hilary said

Hi Kenny,

May i congradulate on a well written and informative article in this weeks C & A, theres been a lot of flack over recent weeks about the quality of articles in the paper. ie: ferrets, hedgehogs and the like, but as usual the paper has through yourself, bounced back with a quality piece about rusk. :-P

My only niggle is a photo of some rusk would have been beneficial and helpful.

hi jimmy
thanks for that picture,as matt will tell you us famous article writers get frustrated when you write a decent article and they chop it down to fit,and they use library pictures also and i suppose they couldnt find one to put in

well done Ken.

i am actually thinking of constructing an article, that will give us a plug or two, thats all i will say for now, as i don't wanted anyone to nick my idea.

copyright Matthew 2006, anyone nicks my idea will get a kickin!

Hi Kenny,

Thats 2 articles in C & A this year, i must say your article on mealworm housing was a fasinating read and just the sort of detailed & descriptive article thats been lacking in recent weeks, well done mate ;)

I also see Chris had a small write up as well, nice try mate.

Yes mate, i have to agree with you.

I also like the tone of your articles, rusks & mealworms, very important stuff.

Many others write about breeding different birds, but where would the readers be without educated people like ourselves telling them what to feed their birds on.

Once again, well done mate ;-) :p
