hmm, i hoestly could tel;l you much Laura
will the two Amethyst starling hens be all right together?
i would keep the bengies in cages, as they are happy enough in their and they can be a bit two friendly.
i'm not sure how the waxbills would get on with a mix of different species.
just keep an eye out on everything and if you see any trouble you will be able to prevent it getting worse.

Hi Matthew,
I have had no problem in the past with the Waxbills being in a mixed flight....but I will obviously keep a close eye on things.
My Amethysts are all living harmoniously at the moment, but I will watch out for signs of aggressiveness during the breeding season.
My Bengies are currently housed, and always have been with the weavers with no problems experienced.
Thanks for the comments, much apreciated ;)

hi laura,
my only concern would be keeping the starlings with smaller birds - as even though they may not bother the adult birds may snap up some of the pink chicks out of the nests in breeding season?
thanks

Hi laura,
will the bourkes parrakeets destroy/play with the weaver nests and other nests?
other than that i wouldn't know of other problems

Hi Chris
I haven't noticed them do this in the past, but worth watching out for. ;)

yep just keep an eye out, if you don't breed from your waxbills you will know why.
