Is it possible to get rings small enough for Waxbills?

I have just noticed a slipped ring on my hen Strawberry Finch, luckily I noticed it in time!

i get the smallest and they fall straight of gold-breasts, and sometimes avadavats so i can't help you them i'm afraid. someone i know suggested using the very small rubber/plastic tubing that insulates electric coils, though i have never tried it.

hughes do an xf size for goldbreasts and the smaller waxbills ,they also make it in a spiral type of plastic

closed rings are completly useless unless waxbills are used to nest inspection, i ought to try those split rings rings and see if they are any smaller than mine, and that they actually stay on them.

the split rings would be better especially if your birds dont like strange objects in the nest
