Hi All
Thanks for the welcome the finches that i currently have are
2 Gouldian cocks
10 Bengalese
1 Bronze canary hen
Another canary not sure of the type but multi coloured
1 Lavender finch
and 1 red bishop hen did have a cock aswell but it died after 6 weeks
Might need some help with the weaver as i bought it without knowing a lot about them but it was sold as a red bishop pair for £30.
Thanks Alan

Hi Alan,
welcome to the forum, nice to know yet another Weaver keeper:grin: shame to hear that you lost the cock bird, i'll keep my eyes peeled for any for sale.
do you know what species of red bishop you have? as there are quite a few with mild differences in appearance (usually the size/area of the mask)

Hi again, just noticed that last comment in your post, weavers are easy to keep going just provide them with a mix of foreign finch, and mixed canary, along with millet sprays and livefoods such as mealworm and waxworm. if you need any help just ask as there are a few of us weaver keepers/breeders on here
