hello all
as you know with much of the bad press in the media, we have decided to do something about it, i urge all who can to attend.
all this has been pasted from ff3
plan B. of the actions that we are taking
"Plan B is not suppsed to be a protest. It's about arranging for as many people as possible to visit the Daily Mail on the same day with a copy of the article plus the article from last saturday's Mail. The idea is to request the Mail to print it in response to sue Reid's report. This will put the editor in a very awkward position, because he'll be faced with an article which a lot of people want printed. At the same time we'll be tipping off the rest of fleet street newspapers and TV news stations about what we're doing. They will turn up wanting to report why hundreds of bird lovers are quieing up outside the Daily mail headquarters. We'll then tell them thats it's beacuse they wont print our article. So they'll want to know what article. So we show them. The news and story for them will be 'bird breeders from all over the country.... etc etc. They will then report on the article we wanted printed which the Daily Mail didn't. They'll also want to interview you and ask why you're out there and you can have your chance to tell them why. This will make BBC and HTV news - as well as fleet street newspapers - so the article will eventually be printed with all the contraditions you made to Sue Reid's report. So
"Saturday the 26th November as most people seem to prefer a weekend and it will take that long to organise. Please can everyone who is willing to go and support our case in having our voice heard over the bad publicity Staffiord recently had. Please add your name and (optional contact details). I would say a good time would be 12 O'clock midday outside the Daily Mail offices with copies of the articles. If anyone got other suggestions they'd be very welcome. It's important that we get as many people as we can to attend or it will just flop so please let as many people know as you can. You can contact me anytime on my mobile number 07834872749 and anyone else willing to act as an organiser will be very much appreciated. Please can you all try your best and add this event to as many forums as you can find" Sue (bluebird ff3 2005)
