I have just heard that over 200 hunts went ahead today, and a loophole allows them to use birds of prey.

Correct me if I am wrong, but as I undertand it birds of prey only hunt when hungry, so how long are they being starved to encourage them to 'support' the hunt?

I realise that this is a contentious issue, and I may get some flack back over this :???:

Hi Laura,I think that on the whole they are only being taken along so that hunting can continue, they are not being used, just as a way round the ban. I know one hunt that is using a golden eagle, but is not taken out of the vehicle it is being carried in!. So i would think that it is being fed as normal, but i can try to find out.

Well, that's what I thought, but as usual I think I may have it wrong :-?

hi laura

the way it works is that as long as they have birds of prey with them they can still flush foxes
