Recovery is approx. 6 months. I am hoping that the fact I have another dog and young child for her to want to play with, recovery will be sooner......not to mention the physio and hydratherapy!! :? ££££££££££

I can see why you want to be a vet Chris ;-)

Hi Laura

damn right, costs less if you can do it yourself!:-P i suppose the downside is if you mess up you know that your responsible moreso than under ordinary circumstances.

i hope she recovers soon anyway, our cat was back to normal within a few weeks (apart from needing tablets everyday) so hoefully your dog will recover as rapidly

Chris:wink:

Millie is worth every penny ;-) My boss asked me how much it was going to cost me, when I told him he then asked 2how much would it cost to have her put to sleep"!!! Heartless bast.......!!!!!!

Hi Laura,

i think your boss would have got a slap if i was in your shoes:-x
seriously though, i can't see the need to have an animal put down unless it is in serious pain constantly, or completely paralysed. it wouldn't happen to a person if there family couldn't afford the op.

tell your boss "how would you like it if your family decided to have you put down becasue they couldn't afford an operation?" maybe he'll get the idea

Chris:-x

Hi Laura,

Although Millie had to go through a huge operation, I'm pleased she is coming through this very well.
I'm sure it would break your heart if things had gone the other way, I'm sure she will recover from the Op given time.

All the best, Paul.
