Hi Josoll,

your correct, Zanibar red weavers (zanzibar bishops) are another specie of red Bishop. there are quite a few different subspecies/species. David Holmes is a good person to ask on FF3 as he can tell you exactly how to distinguish between the various species.

if i remember rightly, Laura has a pair of these? so will be better positioned to help than me

Chris:wink:

Hello Jo,

Zanzibar Bishops are a seperate Species and they are around two thirds of the size of Red Bishops, they are perhaps the smallest of the Red Bishops/Weavers?

I would say a reasonable price for these Birds would be no higher than £35.

Paul.

hello Josoll

let us know with all the prices,

cordon's are beutiful birds, what type are they? red-cheeked, bleu capped, blue-breasted....

now gold-breasts are probabily the best waxbill to keep, and to start off with, they can be sexed very easily, and they can be prolific breeders, once old enough.
