My husband went off with a mate yesterday to get some silver lightback Zebs, when he came back last night he had the zebs but also 2 red bishop cocks:) , he had heard me talking about weavers and took a fancy to them, the guy had bought them as a pair!. So now comes the hard part finding hens, any sugestions:neutral: .I sounds as if his mate decided they would call into people he knew on there trip to see what was availible and to introduce Mike to people. An eventful day:). If i can work out how to i will post pics of the cocks later

Hi Josoll,

they are similar to the orange bishops in the feathered friends title above, only deep red where the orange is

There is quite a difference in the colouring of the birds,i will try and post some larger pics in the gallery, they seem happy enough, but i think finding the hens is going to be the toughie!

Hi Jo,

To me, it looks like you have a cock Red Bishop and a cock Grenadier Weaver, the RB being the smaller Bird.
