Hello all,

The second edition of Bird Keeping World has come my way, and I do see the emergence of a great Magazine in the pages of the second edition.
Steve Foster, along with his Wife Sharon and the rest of the team involved, have taken on a huge task in establishing a fresh publication for Birdkeepers, obviously as a new publication there is still a huge amount of ground to cover in bringing this magazine to the top.

But having said that, I see that BKW will quickly become a publication that will soon fill a void in our hobby, all that we have on offer at the moment is a publication that seems far too comfortable in printing the opinions of the Animal Rights movement.

Paul.

Hello all,

The news of Bird Keeping World becoming a Monthly publication is very bad news, I do realise the reason for this move is down to staffing problems in reaching a twice Monthly publication, but can any of you offer articles that will help this magazine continue?

I will offer usable articles on Birds I have bred in the past, can any more of you do the same?

Paul.

Hi Paul,

are you up for a combined effort on the greensinger/ midjet canary project? we could write up an article explaining the intentions of the project and how we hope to suceed where others have failed etc etc. i could include a few photos of the young mules and the parents, write about what i did etc and what we intend to do next year.

gotta be worth a try?:-)

Hi Chris,

Great idea mate,;-) but it must be stressed that you are to be credited with any success so far, but that's not to say I'm not going to leave you to do this all by yourself at a later date.
I still intend on helping you out with my own efforts next year, I just hope I have better results next year.

Go for it mate, I think it would be best if we work out the planning of the article via PM and post the finished result here to coincide with the publicised article in BKW.

Paul.

Hello all,

How about the rest of you, do any other members here have anything they can write for BKW?

It seems to me that there is scope for articles needed on anything Foreign Bird related for BKW, please put pen to paper or finger to keyboard.

I intend on providing various articles covering Birds, both rarely and commonly bred Species, but how about you British Bird breeders etc?

The provision of the Bird related Forums has brought us all to write about our experiences with Birds, so why can't we provide a new Bird related publication with articles that others will want to read?

A lot of time and effort has gone into making BKW a success, I think we owe Steve Foster and co a lot in helping them keep this new publication around for a very long time.
