After long consideration I decided to divide my long flight in to two. The reason for this is to be able to seriously concentrate on my Weaver breeding.

I have been guilty of letting the aviary become over populated by Cock Weavers!

I have now placed my 'Top Dog err....Bird' Weaver in one section with 4 hens. He also has some Diamond Doves, Quail, Bengalese and Elvis for company

The other section houses 4 cock Weavers that intend to sell, Cape Sparrows, Bourkes, a pair of Hecks, Jacarini's (which I have to move to warmer climes soon), a pair of Cut-throats and a couple of hen Chestnut Sparrows.

Not sure if this will work, but felt I had to give it a go. ;-)

Hi Laura,

I hope your breeding next year increases with all of the Birds you have after dividing the main aviary, and best of luck with the eggs you have from the Weavers.

Paul.
