Hi Matthew,
i don't know of anyone who breeds yellow crowns, i was at one point going to get a pair myself but never got round to it. i think Nigel on this site has yellow crowns also. the funny thing with them is that they have the same Scientific name as Golden bishops/Napoleon weavers, when the 2 are clearly different species:???:

Hi Matthew,
Shame on you for not beating this guy's personal information out of him.
I have a breeding account of Zanzibar Red Bishops from the Avicultural Society Magazine, I do wish to contact the authors of the article for the purpose of the Weaver and Whydah branch of the Waxbill Society.
I hope I do make contact via the Avicultural Society, but without giving too much away if any of you here know of anyone with the Surname Brock please contact me.
Paul.

good idea Paul.
i could probabily find out the man name and location, as i understand it it was a case of finding an extra weaver on the perch so how they bred at this point i couldn't tell you.
all i know they were in a 30ft aviary that was well planted.
its does seem weird that 2 different birds have the same scientific name.

hello Chris, i have no idea mate.
i he said was a ver well planted aviary, the aviary was split up at one point in different section, but he said he left all the doors open to make it that size, next year he hopes to split all the aviary up properly.
what plans he has for these weavers i don't know but i will try and get his details for you.
