Hiya,

been watching this site for a little while now, and whilst it is still young I think it has great potential.

Looking forward to the new season and joining in the forum discussions.

Hello & welcome Old Crow,

Your name wouldn't happen to start with the letter R would it?

Paul. :D

Hi Paul, nice to hear from you; it makes a change to talk to people rather than feel like someone looking over the fence.

You were wrong about the R mate, its C.C.C. - Corvus Corone Cornix - sounds like the Godfather don't it? :D

I have been watching feathered-friends, feathered flyer and birds buddy for a while and find them all to be informative in their own way, but it is all down to the people that support them at the end of the day.

I have been birdkeeping/breeding for some 4 and a half years now on the trot, but some years ago whilst living in Newton St. Cyres I was an avid breeder of love birds.

Laura has been a great inspiration to me and I too hope to breed Weavers this year.

I note that you go to Dorset Birds, I do too. I also attend the local auctions.

Hope to meet up with you sometime soon.

Sqawk 4 now

Hi there Old Crow!

I am really pleased to hear someone else is going to try Weavers, I might have some captive bred Orange Bishops for sale later

What Weavers do you have? Do you have any other birds?

Hello again Old Crow,

Its great that you have decided to join the Forum, rather than look in from the outside.

Sorry about the R mix up I thought you were someone else. :D

I know what you mean regarding Feathered Friends, Birds Buddy & Feathered Flyer, they are all great Sites with great people supporting them all.

You aren't the only one who has been inspired by Laura, I too am hoping to breed Weavers this year, in fact I have the first cock Bird Laura bred last year! :D

Yes I do visit Dorset Birds, the local Shows, Sales & Auctions, I would like to meet you sometime too.

Speak soon, Paul.
