Gourds

Hi Laura,

i haven't grown them myself but i do intend to try them out in the future. JungleSeeds sell the seeds to grow these plants and i think they have to be grown in a warm greenhouse. maybe worth having a look:

i think Rob harvey's sell them at the shows they go to, or used to, though they are not painted like that pictures.

i won't be growing any unless i take over the greenhouses at work, my greenhouse is full aready very full.

Hi Laura,

Matthew is right in that Rob Harvey sells these unpainted, but they are quite pricey.:shock:

I have another idea though, as long as you don't suffer from extreme foot odour, how about providing small Finches with your old shoes/boots/trainers etc?

I just hope your Birds don't think oh my Gourd what is that smell?:lol:

Maybe I will ask my Mum to bring me back some EMPTY Ostritch eggs from Africa for the birds to nest in ;-)
