hello all, i may be preaching to the wrong crowd here but the next WFS meeting is next sunday (the 23rd of this month)
we don't have a guest speaker, but we'll have plenty to talk about.

Venue:
Lotherton Hall, Nr Aberford, Yorks (off A1)
Hall open:
11.30am for sales; meetings start at 12.30pm

hello all

this is another why i am angry

just to highlight these activities of Animal rights, the waxbill finch society isn't allowed to take any birds for sale to Lotherton hall today thanks to these people
They have tipped off Leeds council that the import of Strawberry finch from bird-export.com will be for sale there, which is complete rubbish

so thankyou birdexport.com for opening i huge can of worms

worst still i have heard a shocking rumour who might of tipped of the council, i will not mention any names until it can be proven.

The future of aviculture is in our clubs and societies, yet many of them would be easy targets for AR's, so we all need to be vigalent, and be prepared to respond.

Hi Matthew,

were bird export even going to be there? if not then why the hell have they stopped the sale of any birds!
i'd be interested in knowing who the muppet who gave the tip off is if you can confirm it:-x

bird export was certainly not going to the meeting, though they have once in the past.

i cannot say names on here until it is proven, however, you will both know him.
