Hi Steve

Sorry I didn't get to meet you today but I did get a chance to speak to your wife Sharon, who I must say was great to talk to and most informative :)

I apologise for Jimmy, he hasn't had his medication yet today LOL:razz:

Anybody who signed up will have had the first issue sent out on Friday 30th when we got the first issue from the printer. Sorry, we did come out a week later than I anticipated, we were not quite ready the week before. When you get it I hope you think it was worth the wait. Next issue just after Parrot Society Show and is 3/4 full already so should be no hiccups.

I had 50 subscriptions before anybody had seen the magazine. Thank you to anyone showing such blind trust, I hope we live up to your expectations. As I mentioned to Paul earlier, we have not yet got the infrastructure to match C & A where Club News and Show reports are concerned but I hope you will agree, we have surpassed them in other areas. Any help with club news and show reports appreciated - send info to clubs@birdkeepingworld.com Anything else to info@birdkeepingworld.com

Hi Steve

very confusing I know; but you have to set your time for your region in your profile, I think I have re-set it right for you now. ;-)

Hello Steve,

I'm very pleased to be welcoming you to the Forum so soon after your meeting with Laura today, it was a pleasure speaking to you and Sharon today at the Shepton Mallett/Bath and West Festival Of Birds, thank you both very much for your time.

I've read through the Launch Issue of Bird Keeping World and I congratulate you and everyone else involved in your achievement so far, I look forward to reading BKW every fortnight for many years to come!!

With a lot of help from other Bird Forum members I hope to help you out with a list of Bird Club contacts for the Club News and Show Report sections in BKW and any other information that will be of interest to your readers.

I must mention that Feathered Friends has some talented article writing members who I'm sure will be willing to put fingers to keypads for future issues of BKW, please let all of us here know if if you need any other assistance in the way of information, articles, news, breeding reports, breeding projects etc

I hope that together BKW and Feathered Friends can work together to promote and protect the Hobby of Birdkeeping for namy years from now.

Regarding the incorrect time on your posts, if you go to your profile you can correct the time there.

Many thanks Paul.

Hi Steve

You beat me to it!

I tried to scan your front cover for your avatar but for some unknown reason my scanner is not working tonight!

I am really peeved I didn't get to meet you today; I along with many other people want to wish you well with your new venture ;-)

Please pop back from time to time, I realise you must be very busy at this time, but I am sure all the members here will apreciate your input.

Keep up the good work.
