Hi all, this is one of my young Diamond Doves, any idea what colour this one is?

hey laura,

Looks to me a Whiterump blue to me - post a picture when it has moulted out as they change alot.

He looks tatty - is it moulting?

I agree with Dave, your Dove is a White-Rumped Blue.:wink:

Dave I don't see that the Bird is tatty, only a Diamond Dove in juvenile plumage.:-|

nice bird laura, it sure does take me back a few years when i had them. the chicks are ugly buggers to begin with but they sure do turn out nice.

Hi Laura,

As you know after seeing this Bird in the flesh, I believed that it was a White Rumped Silver, then after looking at the photo again, I think it is definately a White Rumped Blue.
