Hi all,

i'm back in business:grin: , i and a friend have got the beginings of a band going again, so far we have the lead and rhythm guitarist(s) and a drummer, all we need is a bassist and i think the singing is covered.

at the moment this is how it's arranged:

Adam: Rhythm guitar/vocals
Matt: Drums
Me: Lead guitar and backing

we'll be doing metallica style songs hopefully, probably mixed up a bit with tonni iommi/Van Halen/Kirk Hammet guitar parts and hopefully solo's if i'm up to it.

so far we've had a few practice sessions which are already more productive than any past bands i've been in. tommorrow we're going for the grand daddy of 8 hours practice:shock: , and should get at least one song in the bag by then.

We have 2 weeks to get something in the ways of our own song and a cover before going to a recording studio for some proper practice with all the recording equipment, drums, amps, effect etc etc.

i just hope this works out this time round, it seems promising

thats a shame Chris, thats the problem when you rely on other people they often let you down.

i'm sure you'll get to practice one day

hi chris

look for some other people to play with if they let you down on the first practice they are not worth it!

Hi Chris,

My advice to you is to place an add in the rag you used to get together in the first place, advertising a wanted add for the position of the person who let you down, this should let the people you are involved with know how serious you are.

All the best mate, Paul.

Hi Chris,

Don't know if you're still looking, but i'm reliable, still have my triangle and can play three blind mice on the recorder.

Let me know.

Hi Paul,

to be honest we haven't re-arranged since the last practice session due to me having coursework to do etc for College. given a few weeks to get back on my feet i reckon we'll get something sorted
