Live Food

At the start of this years breeding season I introduced live food to my birds, should I still continue this practise during the non-breeding season?

Hello Laura,

I continue feeding Livefood out of the breeding season, but only in very small quantities, due to the fact the Birds would find limited amounts of Livefood in the wild during these months.

Also the re-introduction of increased amounts of Livefood early in the year is an added stimulus to condition the Birds into breeding in the Spring. :wink:
