Thanks Ken,

Been to Malta many times, but never been to Gozo, will give it a look, apparently theres a really good chinese restaurant there.

Also having a day trip to sicily.

I normally like a bit of water sports, but had an accident in Cyprus last August, fractured a couple of verabrae in my spine and ended up in a cypriot hospital for a couple of weeks.
So the wife won't let me on a speedboat no more.

Sorry guys, forgot info on Cetti's Warbler.

Cetti's warbler
Cettia cetti

A small, rather nondescript bird, Cetti’s warbler (pronounced chetty) is a skulking bird and can prove very difficult to see. It usually makes its presence known with loud bursts of song and the first glimpse will probably be of a dark, rather stocky warbler with short wings and a full, rounded tail, diving for cover. It is one of the UK’s most recent colonists, first breeding here in 1973, and its small population makes it an Amber List species

Breeding
It likes dense, damp cover such as brambles and willow scrub next to reeds and most of its population breeds by sizeable reedbeds.

Wintering
Similar to breeding habitat.

Where to see it
Likes damp areas close to wetlands. Look for it at RSPB reserves at Radipole Lake and Lodmoor, Dorset; Exminster Marshes, Devon; Marazion Marsh, Cornwall; and Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk.

What does it eat?
Insects and larvae.

What does it sound like?
A loud, explosive series of notes.

When to see it
All year round.

Similar species
Nightingale, Reed warbler
