Hi Everyone,

Most of you will know me from some of the other sites.

I specialise in British Birds these days, with most hardbills & now a few softbills as well.

An interesting looking site!

Cheers

Robb

Hi robb,

nice to see you onborad mate. i don't have any brits yet, however i am considering House sparrows as apparently they're our native weaver and i am trying to specialise in weavers.

Hello and welcome Robb,

I hope that over a short period that a few more British Birdkeepers will come on board and make you feel more at home, but my view has always been that Birdkeeping is Birdkeeping, and we can all learn from the various sections of our hobby whether we are talking about Budgies:roll:, Canaries, British or Foreign Birds.

I keep mainly Foreign Birds, but over the years I have learnt a great deal from other keepers of Foreign Birds, British Birds, Canaries and even keepers of Budgies:shock:!!

amen to that paul, even though i have not kept certain species i like to here about them as its better than reading a book in some cases especially if you fancy keeping a certain species all you do is ask on here instead of going to the library.

Hi All,

Thanks everyone for your words of welcome :)

You are right in what you say - no matter what species we keep - we all have that passion for birds in common. So many sides of the hobby are very similar & we can learn so much from each other!

Cheers

Robb
