you're right they are all miles away, but nice people though.

Its my first year of keeping birds, i have 4 canaries & a pair of zebras, these will be going soon and i am getting some fifes and hopefully a couple of goldfinches, i intend to try muling.

we're both in the same boat this was my 1st season trying to mule but only managed to breed 4 linnet mules and 2 goldie mules, not sure on sex yet but have put them all to a muling training cd. i have just started pairing my birds up now for hybridising and muling for next year, as seen as you've got the same interests we'll have to compare notes.

I am hoping to get my Fifes & Goldies in October, what canaries do you use.

i use rollers because i've been told they carry more selective notes, also i like them cos there not as loud as other canaries and make great mum's
next season i will concentating on
roller to roller pairs
goldie to roller hens
goldie to linnet
linnet to goldie
i'm not going to bother with other hybridising as it takes up to much time as i found out this year to no well worth results, so i've decided to cut my selection right down to minimal
