...this year Sparrows.

We had Robbins nesting in our garden last year and as you know they can become very tame....when they want free food. This year it is the turn of the Sparrow, I had one eating out of my hand this morning :D

hi laura
only joking i would never catch a wild bird anyway...i told my son to wait a fortnight before he replaced our fence because of a blackbird nesting in the potato vine he wasnt pleased but i couldnt let him tear it down with the young still in there i waited till they had gone before the fence did.....the things we do for birds

always wanted to keep house sparrows, only problem with them is finding normals as nearly all offered for sale are mutations!

would be nice to see some in our garden once in a while too, see loads of other birds yet oddly enough never a sparrow.. but if you go up the road theres loads?

Chris;)

Strange that; we have loads of Sparrows, Blue-tits and Dunnocks, but we don't see much else

we get loads of greenfinches, a fair few blue and great tits, and occassionally long tailed tits, there's a trio of robins that hang around, and a few pairs of dunnocks too, the blackbirds... and then the usual pigeons, magpies etc. oh and the flippin heron!!!!
