how long do quail sit on the nest for? Mine seems to have been sat for ages!!

i think it's around 18-21 days, been so long since mine raised a clutch (or feels like it) that i've forgot:oops:

laura, whatever you do, don't disturb them as last year i was ready to throw out the eggs in belief they were infertile due to them not hatching when expected, 10 days later i had 10 chicks:grin:

just hang on a little while longer;-)

I saw her pop off her nest today, the first time I have seen her off the nest for ages!
