I cleaned the filter on my tumble dryer today and I noticed that if you form the fluff that was gathered in it into a ball, then put your fist into it, it will make an ideal nest liner! The fibres' are only tiny so should not tangle around a birds leg.

Great idea Laura,
But I loved Matthews comment, "you can keep your own fluff"
Cat fur is another good nest lining material, I just hope that Matthew doesn't go out on a skinning spree after I've mentioned that?
