Paranormal Pigeons

You may or may not be interested but there is a program on chanel 5 tonight at 8pm. It looks at how pigeons navagete their way home over thousands of miles.

i will put that in my notebook ,i didnt go to bed while 2 on sunday after watching a full day of the life of birds on the history channel and that was put on after i had watched my favourite....countryfile

so i understand!my father in law kept these before he kept finches and he used to tell me all about the way they map everything when they are in the air when they are flying..and he said it is definately something to do with the earths magnetic pull....what baffled me was they went everywhere in a basket and were shipped to france and belgium without seeing the outside and then they would fly all the way back with no bother and it was rare that he lost any......by the way there is a programme about otters on at the same time then a 10 minute run about ravens
