Hi all
I had the unfortunate task of taking one of my young Cape Sparrows to the vet today.
Over a very short period of time a growth appeared on its head just above its beak and was starting to head for the nasal passages.
Due to the size and position of the growth the vet and I decided it was kinder to have the bird put to sleep.
My other sparrows do not have any growths so I am hoping that this is just one of those things.
