I have been wanting to tell you for ages, and now that they are out of the nest I can.

I have 2 Cape Sparrow babies :p

They are very shy and keep popping back into their nest box; I have managed to get a photo of one of them.

Well done mate as you know this is an extremely notable breeding and you must have had a huge sigh of relief when they finally fledged.:D

I'm certain you will recieve a meritous breeding award from the F.B.A. for breeding these,;-) and I assume you will be putting together a few words on this achievement for a few publications?:D

One question though, from your photo I'm guessing this bird is a cock, but does the other chick show the black on the head?
