Hi Ken,

Congratulations on having the star letter mate,;) regarding your threat of an article, go for it mate, you don't have to be a breeder of rare Parrots, Softbills etc or be an ex Zookeeper to produce an article of interest for other readers of Cage and Aviary Birds.

It works on the forum here and elsewhere, so why not C&A?:D

Your experience in the hobby is a very interesting story and may well help other hobbyists avoid going through losing birds in the sad and infuriating way that you did, or help others in coming back to the hobby who have suffered similar experiences.

Your choice to continue in the hobby despite past and present problems is an inspiration to many people mate, if I had to go through only half of your past experience in the hobby I'm sure I would have thrown in the towel.

As for the link regarding the treatment you will be going through, woahh:shock: that is heavy stuff mate!!

All the best from all of us here Ken, I hope the treatment makes a real improvement for you. Paul.;)

hi paul
thanks for the kind words mate, regarding the treatment but up to now i have had 3 lots of that stuff and it hasnt seemed to work...the problem is the older i get the harder the healing process is......regards the star letter i only wrote it and the others as i would hate to be treated in the same way they cant expect people to join the hobby if they are not prepared to help anyone...and the article..well you never know i may write something when i get the right amount of words together

Hi Ken,

I'm really sorry that the treatment isn't working as well as it should,:-( is there no other option for treatment?:|

I hope you do find the time to put something together, I look forward to reading an article of yours in C&A mate.;-)

All the best Ken, I hope there is suitable treatment out there for you.

Paul.
