I'm after a number of finches if anyone can help (preferably 05 birds)

1. 1 orange cheeked waxbill hen (or a pair and 1 spare hen). This requirement is fairly desperate existing hen is being hassled by 2 cocks.
2. 2 bronzed winged mannikin hens.
3. 1 pair of Spice finches.
4. 1 pair of Star finches.

Thanks, Martyn

i cannot help you with the spice finches or the mannikins but i know of a place in Doncaster who has a few orange cheeks (nor more than 3) i think there was a hen in there. and stars the waxbills are £10 each

Think Doncaster is probably a bit far for me to fetch them - I'm based in Northants. Thanks anyway.

Hi Tom,

If Doncaster is too far for Martyn to travel, then I'm sure Hampshire may be too far as well, but out of interest what other birds do you have coming your way apart from the Orange Cheeks?

Paul.;-)

All the best, Paul.;)

Hi Matthew,

You would be surprised by what goes on by ordering from Continetal suppliers to what ends up on your doorstep.

Hi Matthew,

This subject could become huge mate, in some cases it starts at the country of origin, but the worst example currently exists in the UK with a couple who dominate the for sale pages of C&A Birds, with these people you can order a pair of Tri-Coloured Parrotfinches, pay the money for the birds you have ordered only to end up with a pair of Blue Faced Parrotfinches worth far less than your order that you have paid for.:-x

Paul.
