i picked a Pekin robin up last night from a friend who bought it at the auction t'other day. i was going to just sex it for him as i don't have the room for another at the moment, but he wanted £50 for it which is a dam good price. My Great uncle has an aviary that only had 3 birds in so i put the Pekin in there.
IF i do manage to breed them then i will have a change of blood at a reonable price.
The robin is a different sub-species to what i have its a grey bird instead of green and has a very pale yellow/cream throat. Now i am by no means certain but it looks allot like a female to me, if that is so, then i have got a good deal indeed :) i'll keep you posted.
